What is the difference between the two blowpipe ends?
If you begin blowing but have not had much experience, then the one with the countersunk blowpipe is the best. The reason the countersunk blowpipe is good for beginners is bacause at the start it is difficult to find the right momentum to blow out and the pipe with the countersunk end will blow out easier, but it is more difficult to obtain the shape after blowing the glass out.The pipe without the countersunk end is more difficult to blow out with, but after the ball is formed it is easier to obtain your shape in the opinion of ZGS.
