This E-course channel is a fun class designed for beginners to advanced in sculpting off-mandrel in soft and hard glass.
 
 
Unlike the usual Julie classes which are high-octane and intense. This 2.5 month class is jam packed with fun AND difficult demos by ZGS founder Dr Julie Anne Denton (IoM), Shane Fero (USA), Wesley Fleming (USA) and Serbay Doru (TR), Ivan Bestari (ID), Derya Geylani (TR) and our house favourite Shane Fero (USA). Our demos are focused on botanical goblets, blown figures, splashes, fish, light catchers and bugs.
 
In this class we aim to hone your skills in a fun and easy manner by teaching you myriad techniques which you can apply to your own personal projects later down the line. Mostly we will be looking at off-mandrel and blowing techniques in soft, recycled and hard glass.
 
This class includes 10 demos which should take ten weeks to complete if you include your practicing time. Class includes two complimentary 30 minute one on one zoom consultations with ZGS founder Dr Julie Anne Denton to help you with the tricky bits, whilst receiving personal help and encouragement with the projects. It is advisable to use this consultation as our participants find the them invaluable.
 
Visual technical handouts are also provided which help you remember the steps for all the demonstrations at a glance. By the end of this course you will feel like an entirely new world of sculpting off-mandrel through flameworked glass has opened up to you. Please remember, expect breakages and tears. What we are creating is tricky and takes A LOT of practice, logic, patience, and an inquiring mind.
 
This E-course is a stand-alone course which is complimented by Julie 1-2: SMGS winter E-course. Our Spring Sunday Morning Glass School will push your skill level and give you confidence in your own abilities, and empower you to own your creativity.
 
You can work through this course at your own pace. After purchase allow 24 hours to be granted access to the Various 1-3: SMGS Spring channel. You will have six months unlimited access to your channel from this point. Please be patient until you receive the email which grants you access.
 
A folder full of goodies is included with this E-course channel which includes demo transcriptions, hand-drawn visual step by step guides to demo steps, other technical data sheets which compliment your course and helpful pictures. All demos have been transcribed and are available upon request in 30 different languages.
