This series of E-courses is designed for all levels of beadmaker in soft glass.
 
This class is designed by glass master Dr. Julie Anne Denton and is a stand-alone course, but purposefully designed as a follow-up to Julie 1: Animals in Soft Glass. This course will build upon the techniques learned in Julie 1 using the figure to further develop your off-mandrel learning curve in the comfort of your own studio. In this E-course channel you will learn how to make a torso, a Venus, a full figure with closed legs, a full figure with “dancing” legs, full figure with arms and legs both close to the body and separate. We will also touch upon feet, hands and heads. 
 
These forms will teach you a variety of more tricky techniques. We will be making these figures in both soft glass and borosilicate glass, although if you prefer just to use one of the glass types this is fine.
 
 This class includes 10 demos which should take a few weeks to complete if you include your practicing time. These tutorials show you how to make a torso, a Venus, a Cycladic figure, a Renaissance figure in the Italian style, figure hospital and a fully-formed tree spirit in soft and hard glass.
 
Class includes one complimentary one on one consultation with ZGS founder Dr Julie Anne Denton to help you with the tricky bits, whilst receiving personal help and encouragement with the projects. It is advisable to use this consultation as our participants find the them invaluable.
 
Visual technical handouts are also provided which help you remember the steps for all the demonstrations at a glance. By the end of this course you will feel like an entirely new world of sculpting off-mandrel through flameworked glass has opened up to you. Please remember, expect breakages and tears. What we are creating is tricky and takes A LOT of practice, logic, patience, and an inquiring mind.
 
This e_course is a stand-alone course which is complimented by Julie 1-2 Early learner Fundays in soft & boro glass and Julie 3: Big figure e_course channels. Our Julie 2: Figure e_course will push your skill level and give you confidence in your own abilities, and empower you to own your creativity.
 
You can work through this course at your own pace. After purchase allow 24 hours to be granted access to the Julie 2: Figure channel. You will have six months unlimited access to your channel from this point. Please be patient until you receive the email which grants you access.
 
A folder full of goodies is included with this e_course channel which includes demo transcriptions, visual technical demo handouts, other technical data sheets which compliment your course and helpful pictures. All demos have been transcribed and are available upon request in 30 different languages.
